Interoperability Overview

InStil Health interoperability application programming interfaces (APIs) are based on HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standards and the OAuth 2.0/Open ID connect standard for member authentication and authorization.

The following APIs are supported:

• Patient Access API — Allows access to members' health care data, which includes claims, explanations of benefits, coverage information, encounter information and clinical information.
• Provider Directory API — Facilitates search for InStil Health provider and pharmacy directories.

Member consent

InStil Health plan members may authorize us to disclose protected health information to a third-party app of choice within our secure member portal, My Health Toolkit^®.
